In 2008 on the occasion of its 140th birthday, IWC took six iconic models from the company’s long history and updated them as contemporary reinterpretations, equipped with modern IWC-manufactured movements. This limited edition collection comprises of the Aquatimer Automatic, 1967; the Ingenieur Automatic, 1955; the Portuguese hand-Wound, 1939; the Da Vinci Automatic, 1969; the Pilot’s Watch Hand-Wound, 1936 and the Portofino Hand-Wound, 1984.
